OLGA 6 provides extended compatibility between key functionalities compared to previous releases, e.g. drilling fluids with slugtracking.

Computational performance.
OLGA 6 is a threaded application, developed for multi core platforms, and may give significant performance boost when run on such systems. Most modules are parallelized, e.g. compositional tracking and slugtracking.

Second order scheme for mass equations.
A second order scheme for mass equations is available for all functionalities - giving more accurate results in simulations where it is important to maintain sharp fronts, e.g. for rate changes, slugging and injection of inhibitors.

Wells interface
The implementation of a wells workflow interface in the wells module reduces the modelling time significantly.
