Reservoir Engineers

Our Kuala Lumpur office is continuing to expand at a rapid rate. As a result we are looking for dynamic individuals with 5+ years of industry experience, in the area of Reservoir Simulation using ECLIPSE or similar tools, and with an interest in developing their experience in the areas of Assisted History Matching and probabilistic forecasting/uncertainty analysis.  We are particularly interested to hear from Malaysian nationals interested to develop these skills.

Tasks

• Perform reservoir simulation and assisted history matching studies for clients, both in SPT offices in KL and at client offices in the region, mainly using ECLIPSE and SPT’s MEPO software
• Longer term reservoir engineering consulting assignments with clients in KL   

Education:

• Masters degree in Reservoir or Petroleum Engineering
• Solid experience of reservoir simulation (minimum 5 years)

• Flexible and with desire for working in a dynamic organization
• Structured and with excellent analytical skills
• Fluent in written and oral English
