Senior Geo modeller, MEPO Northern and Eastern Europe

SPT Group has over the past years developed MEPO, which is a software application for uncertainty assessment and history matching of reservoir simulation models. Our technology is getting well known in the industry, and several companies have started to roll it out our technology in their organisations.

New features are continuously being introduced in MEPO, and a prototype of a MEPO–Petrel link is currently available. We are a highly competent reservoir group and want to extend our organisation to include geologists to supplement the reservoir modelling part of the subsurface work. The geologist will be involved in consultancy work in client’s office, in house projects and project support.   

Tasks

• Product specialist Petrel/MEPO
• Advisor / Project support
• Building reservoir models
• Handling uncertainties in geo and reservoir model
• Technical support
• Training courses

Required education:

• Higher University degree in geology
• Expert in geo modelling, Petrel or RMS

Personal skills

• Preferable minimum five years of relevant experience
• Ability to effectiveluy present and communicate to clients and colleagues
• Self driven with ability to capture and realize new ideas
• English both written and spoken
• Self starter, keen to assist
• Teamoriented
• Flexible and with desire for working in a dynamic organization
• Structured and analytical skills
• Flexible wrt. frequent travelling
