Business Development Manager OLGA® for Wells
Responsibilities:
The Business Development Manager will be responsible for planning and carrying out all sales and marketing activities and achieving the global software and services sales targets set for the company.
Tasks
- Lead the OLGA for Wells corporate project organisation
- Reach the OLGA for Wells corporate revenue targets
- Build an international arena for dynamic well simulation
- Take the lead on further market development of OLGA for well applications
- Give guidance and requirements to further OLGA for Wells software developments
- Support and urge the regional offices in building their organisations to make able the planned growth of OLGA for Wells segment
- Arrange meetings with existing and potential customers to perform presentations, demonstrations leading up to sales of software or services
- Prepare and send proposals, negotiate contracts and close deals
- Organize various marketing campaigns in collaboration with corporate marketing staff
- Initiate and maintain a high number of simultaneous sales processes utilizing the engineering team actively in pre-sales activities, software training, project mentoring and consultancy.
Education:
- A Master of Science degree in Petroleum Technology (Production, Reservoir and Drilling) or related disciplines is relevant.

Experience:
The right candidate has strong competence on well performance technology. International experience is preferred. Recent travelling experience is mandatory. Knowledge of OLGA is advantageous, but not a necessity. The preferred person should be between 35 and 50 years old. The candidate must speak Norwegian and English fluently.
