Successful MEPO User Group Meeting 2009 in Oslo, Norway

The second Advanced MEPO workshop and User Group Meeting (view picture presentation - pdf) with participants representing 16 industry and research partners took place in Oslo on the 21st – 22nd of September 2009. SPT Group as the organizer of this year’s event was pleased to see an increase of participants of 40% compared to 2008.

The Advanced MEPO workshop and User Group Meeting offered a mix of presentations by MEPO users from the industry and SPT Group. Industry partners gave a valuable overview on application scenarios and experiences.  The MEPO vision was supported by a positive interest in a broad selection of MEPO application areas including computer assisted optimization workflows and new optimizers. MEPO3.3 release highlights received a positive feedback.

One key focus of the meeting concentrated on user feedback. In several sessions deployment and rollout experiences were presented by industry partners with a broad and long term application experience.
